Antonio Conte will target Paul Pogba if he becomes Paris Saint-Germain’s next manager
Antonio Conte is keen to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United if he becomes Paris Saint-Germain’s next manager, according to reports in Italy.
Earlier this week, L’Equipe reported that PSG have already contacted Conte’s brother in order to gauge the Italian’s interest in replacing Unai Emery at the end of the season.
The report also claims that PSG are planning to meet with Conte’s agent, Federico Pastorello, next week.
According to Italian television station Rai Sport, Conte has already given PSG a list of transfer targets and Pogba is one of the players the Italian is after.
The report also claims that Conte is targeting AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
Conte also wants Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich having failed to sign the Chile international for Chelsea.
Earlier this week, reports in Spain claimed that Chelsea have already reached an agreement with Luis Enrique to replace Conte this summer.
The Chelsea squad are said to be already preparing for Conte’s exit, with some players even suggesting that he is deliberately trying to get sacked with some of his recent decisions.
