Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford fortunate to escape red card after first half incident against Liverpool
The youngster scored two goals before the break at Old Trafford, but could also have seen two yellow cards.
The 20-year-old struck twice inside 24 minutes for the Red Devils with a sensational display on what was his first start of 2018.
But it seemed the excitement was a bit much for Rashford who was needlessly booked for a late challenge on James Milner in the 27th minute.
Despite walking a tightrope, Rashford went flying in on Trent Alexander-Arnold in a similar way to his initial booking in the 41st minute.
Despite failing to make contact with ball the Manchester United striker was incredibly fortunate to see his opponent fail to make a meal of the challenge and referee Craig Pawson opt not to take any action.

It would have been a disastrous end to the first half for Rashford after his incredible two-goal display. Graeme Souness warned: ‘He’s got to be careful. Manchester United can’t go down to 10 men.’
