Manchester United duo Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini are fit again and could feature against Liverpool, Jose Mourinho confirmed.

The Belgian midfielder has started just once during the last five months and the club have been mystified by the 30-year-old’s knee injury.

Fellaini missed almost two months towards the end of 2017 and lasted just six minutes as a subsitute against Tottenham in January, when he was forced off with a knee injury.

However, the former Everton man has been back in training again this week and Mourinho’s confirmed he could face Liverpool while Bailly is fit again.

‘He [Bailly] was fully fit for a couple of weeks,’ said Mourinho.

‘He’s okay, the only one that is back to the team is Fellaini,’

United held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw at Anfield in October but the onus will be on the Red Devils to attack the Reds at Old Trafford.

Dejan Lovren took a dig at Mourinho’s side for ‘parking the bus’ at Anfield and the defender believes Mourinho will opt to do so again.
