Arsenal star Alex Iwobi sent a message to Arsene Wenger ahead of the north London derby with a brilliant performance for Nigeria in the side’s 4-2 defeat of Argentina.

Iwobi has only managed one goal for the Gunners so far this season but fired home a sensational second-half double versus a side boasting the likes of Sergio Aguero, Paulo Dybala and Javier Mascherano on Tuesday evening.
Ever Banega broke the deadlock in the 27th minute before Aguero made it 2-0 to Argentina in the 36th minute, but Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one back for Nigeria before half-time.
Iwobi produced a masterclass after the break and the Arsenal forward scored with a neat finish in the 52nd minute to bring the Super Eagles level at the Krasnodar Stadium.
