Zidane called Kane a ‘complete player’ before his side took on Spurs in the Champions League and then witnessed a superb performance from the England international in the 1-1 draw.
Real have reportedly identified Kane as their next Galactico and are ready to spend huge to land the 24-year-old.
Tottenham value Kane upwards of £200million, but speaking ahead of Spurs’ game against Liverpool, Kane responded to Zidane’s comments.
‘I always feel there’s stuff I can improve upon, I will never stop trying to do that,’ he told Sky Sports.
‘It’s a great compliment and one I will take as a positive, take in my stride and try to use as confidence.
‘I’ll always keep working on stuff. I never feel you can always be the best so I will keep working at things.’

Real will surely not be the only side to be interested in Kane with Manchester United one of several previous teams to be linked with the goalscorer.
Kane is on a real hot streak this season with 15 goals in 15 appearances for club and country.
But, the back-to-back Golden Boot winner insisted the continuous transfer speculation does not affect him.
He added: ‘I think it is a compliment that there are rumours as it shows how well we are doing as a team, but from our point of view, we have got a job to here and we just need to focus on that.’
Tottenham have experience in losing their star men to Real with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric leaving White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu in recent years.
